Rio Olympics: Going Early

I don't think I have ever seen the Omnium raced before, wow!  What a wild race.  Every ten laps is a sprint were points are awarded in the over all, 5 for first, 3 for second, 2 for third and 1 for fourth.  The other way to gain points is to lap the field, and that pays big time - 20 points.  That is what Fernando Gaviria (Colombia) is attempting.  He does succeed in gaining the 20 points, and he pick up a sprint victory in the process.

This is a small watercolors and ink painting measuring just 4"x6" and was created using Yarka St. Petersburg watercolors and Steve Quiller brushes from www.richesonart.com.  This painting and all of my Olympics artwork will be available through my artist website at www.greigleach.com.  To purchase this particular painting just follow the direct link at the end of this post.  Remember this is an original work of art, so once it has been sold, it is gone.  Don't delay buy it now!
